Inspired by the secluded beauty of Laya, Bhutan, Layah offers personalised journeys that blend rich cultural insights with meticulous planning and exclusive encounters. The brand name was specially crafted to include “ah,” featuring the initials of Alexandra Hepworth, underscoring her personal touch and commitment.

Firedrake partnered with Alexandra to craft Layah’s brand from the ground up. We developed the brand name, story, and identity, ensuring every element reflected Layah’s commitment to intimate, unforgettable travel. The inclusion of “ah” in the brand name is prominently highlighted in the wordmark, emphasising Alexandra’s integral role and personal dedication to the brand.

The brand identity features a striking hummingbird symbol, representing the agility and elegance of Layah’s services. The color palette, inspired by prestigious destinations worldwide, brings cultural diversity and creativity to the brand. The sophisticated, art-directed website showcases Layah’s promise of unique, luxurious travel experiences, with design elements that reinforce the brand’s narrative and identity.
